Studio Visits: In the Posthuman Atelier is:
A conceptual exhibition catalogue artwork that documents an exhibition in which a human curator "visits" 50 synthetic AI artists (note that all the chairs are empty, and the floors are clean)

This project conceptually accesses the anxieties of AI-based image generation, its relation to Benjamin's "Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction", the author's ideas on "The Culture of "Like"", and the coming of the "Psychosis of Representation".

Over a 4-month period, (from August 2022) the artist used MidJourney v4 to create uncannily realistic art studios, then generated artist's names/statements using GPT3. The only thing that is not generated is the curatorial statement.

The project is a Picasso-esque "Lie which reveals the Truth."
